Artist Matthew Harrison presented his latest project “Hummer” at the fifth Zoo Art Fair (17-20 October 2008) – a HUMMER H3 with wooden wagon wheels, will the installation icon parked on Old Burlington Road, opposite the Royal Academy of Arts for the duration of the fair .

Harrison is showing on behalf of the East Gallery in London, Limoncello, one of 57 children under the age of six galleries, project spaces, artist collective, conservative groups and publications where you can admire the works of the most exciting artistic talent of the world .

Harrison has combined the legendary off-road vehicle with wooden wheels Wild West ‘to create a sculpture that is a mixture of art, engineering and automotive. For Harrison, the core of the ‘Hummer’ is formed by both its ‘being’ and the Hereafter.

Adventure model adds heated power, adjusted the seat, leather-appointed interior, an off-road suspension package, full central locking rear differential, a chrome appearance package and 7-speaker Monsoon sound system, making it suitable for those who want to take their HUMMER a little further remote.

For those who want to pamper Hummer, luxury-appointed model equipped with leather interior, eight-way heated power seats arranged, 16×7.5in chrome wheels, chrome side steps, hood and roof bar and the Louvre 7 speaker Monsoon sound system. Various options are available for all models.

At first, all the Hummer H3 is offered with a unique engine Vortec inline five-cylinder 3.7 liter gasoline. 245ps @ 4600rpm which is specially designed units for the H3 and offers an impressive 328Nm of torque, giving the car excellent flexibility in even the most difficult conditions. Two transmissions are offered – a five-speed manual or four-speed GM Hydra-Matic Auto.
